Our recommendation is to see Dubrovnik from a height like a bird, and for that an attractive way is by cable car to the hill Srđ. Once you are in the Old town you need to go out to the northern part of the walls, so the mainland that overlooks the hill Srđ on top of which there is a large TV antenna. You will easily find the stairs to the cable car departure station. On the hill Srđ you have a restaurant - cafe, and a museum of the Homeland War if you are interested in our closer war for independence. The ticket by cable car is return.

Tip: taxi to the hill Srđ and this spot is much cheaper! The best views of Dubrovnik and the surrounding area are experienced from the top of the Srd Hill. The Dubrovnik Cable Car was built back in 1969 and was enthusiastically used by millions of visitors who wanted to enjoy the most beautiful panoramic views. On a clear day, you can see up to 60 km (37 miles). For this reason the neighbouring Imperial Fortress was strategically built on this privileged spot, back in the early 19th century."
