Zagreb Coffee Tour
It's finally here! After almost two decades in tourism, I finally know what I want to do!!! And I want to share it with you.
Ta-ta-ta-tammmm.... Behold - the first ever Zagreb coffee tour!!! Hosted by The Guidefather©
So what are we talking about here?!
First, let's get one thing straight - coffee is the BEST!!! If the last statement sounds wrong please find another tour. And maybe some better judgment. Just kidding. Or am I?!
Zagreb lies on the crossroad of three different coffee drinking cultures. And not to offend any of them we adopted their ways and blended them into a specific Croatian coffee drinking culture. One might think it is no different from say Polish or Greek. On this tour I will show otherwise and that our devotion to coffee is unique.
We'll learn all about coffee as a plant, beverage, addiction, art... We'll follow its roots, discover its historical trails and find out how it came here. Roasting, brewing, blooming, extraction, V60, grinding, Turkish, cold brew, and other words will be our vocabulary for some 3h. But we don't want to get too technical. Behind all those terms are great stories, customs and even legends - and an experience unique to Zagreb. I invite you to come and discover it with me.
On the tour, we'll obviously taste quite a few coffees prepared in a variety of ways so I advise you to come "decaffeinated". Don't worry, we also have snacks :)
