The property runs down to the banks of the Onkaparinga River with a large waterhole and rock escarpment. The cottage sits a the top of the property with views over the landscaped edible art garden. Strout Farm Cottage still belongs to the Strouts who have lived here for more than 180yrs. Starting with Richard Strout, there have been 7 generations of Strouts live in this cottage. Most of the furniture, photos and ornaments come with a story of where they fit in the Strout timeline. Additionally, there are more than 20 cellar doors within a 1.5km, including Leconfield, Wirra Wirra and Down The Rabbit Hole, this is the perfect location to explore the McLaren Vale wine region..
