Taos Earthship: Modern + MesaLocated in the world-famous Greater World Earthship Community, this modern off-grid home is one of a kind! Built by hand over 8 years by me, your host, Kirsten. This sustainable house is bright, light, and airy with clean lines and unique details. Like all Earthships this house is built from natural and repurposed materials such as used automobile tires, cardboard, old cans and bottles. All electricity for the house is from solar. All water is from the sky. More comfort, less hippie.

An off-grid Earthship built by Michael Reynolds in 2001, this home offers beautiful views and dark night skies for star-gazing. Relax and unwind in this natural sanctuary and enjoy the local population of visiting birds, including hummingbirds, quail families and ravens.
