Glass walls, an angled roof and smooth concrete forms link the outdoor living areas with the indoor ones. Soft area rugs, clean-lined sofas in neutral tones and low wood tables form a subtly stylish backdrop for whimsical contemporary art in the two-level sitting area, and in the dining area, graceful Cherner chairs and a glass-topped table are flooded with light from a bank of windows. There’s additional seating at the breakfast bar in the fully equipped kitchen. The three bedrooms at Classic Mid-Century are large enough for a family holiday or vacation with friends, yet small enough for a honeymoon or other romantic getaway. The master suite has a king bed and en-suite bathroom and opens to the pool terrace, and the other two bedrooms have queen beds and share a bathroom. Though the villa’s city views make you feel like you’re above the urban bustle, Classic Mid-Century is less than 10 miles from many L.A. must-sees and less than 25 miles from some of the area’s most popular beaches.
