Number 7; The Cottage : a rural retreat.Sleeps up to 5 . A charming, cosy traditional cottage dating back to 1870 in the small hamlet of Fir Tree, Crook. Although almost 200 years old, it has been mostly modernised inside to give modern conveniences along with retaining charm and character. 2 pub/restaurants in the hamlet serving excellent food. Although situated on the A68, the main road to Edinburgh, the cottage itself is a haven of tranquility with double glazing throughout. I live 3 miles away but am always on hand if needed.
