Hoi An old town is a must-see destination when you come to Hoi An city. Hoi An was a bustling international trading port in Southeast Asia from the 15th to the 19th century. Although large-scale trading had long moved elsewhere, Hoi An has been successful in preserving and restoring its charming roots and was recognized as the World Heritage by UNESCO in 1998. Nowadays, Hoi An is one of the most famous tourist destinations in Vietnam.Tradition is still very much alive in the Old Town, even though many of the old shops have been converted to modern businesses which aim to foreigners and tourists, Hoi An is considered as a living museum of architecture and urban lifestyle. Most traditional houses here are the combination of different architectures from different cultures such as Chinese, Japanese, French, and British and of course Vietnamese style.
you can easy to get a taxi, a scooter or bike to go to the old town. it will take you around 15 minutes from our homestay to the old town.

Located 3 km west of Hoi An, in the 16th and 17th centuries, Thanh Ha was a very prosperous village, famous for ceramic and terracotta items being exchanged and wholesaled throughout the central provinces of Vietnam. . Pottery village originated from Thanh Hoa, after having acquired some technical capital, the village formed a pottery village today.
when you visit this village, you can see directly the local make the potery and exspecially you can join and learn how to make with local guiding.
