Welcome to our quiet private guest suite! Our property, Burnt Meadow Farm, is surrounded by fields, woods, walking trails, gardens, a pond, and occasionally farm animals. You will enter through a shared entrance but have the entire 725 sq. ft. guest apartment all to yourself that includes a living room, full kitchen, bathroom, and large bedroom with a desk. Ample light with views of fields, stone walls, Christmas trees and our barn! Out back we have a pool, BBQ, table & chairs you may use.

The large bedroom has a queen bed, desk, dresser, & closet. The living room has a table & chairs for eating and/or work space, sofa recliner, and 54" TV above cupboard/shelves with books, games, & puzzles. Living room is open to the kitchen - complete with full size refrigerator, range, & dishwasher.

Our neighborhood is generally quiet. We own 14 acres with hay fields, pasture, woods around a pond, gardens, Christmas trees, and marsh. We lease an additional 7 acres of pasture/hay field from New England Forestry Foundation, which connects to miles of woodland trails for walking, x-c skiing, and bicycling. We have a constant parade of wildlife walking through the yard - some welcome and some not so welcome!

Greetings! Originally from the Upper Peninsula of MI, where I obtained my degree in Forestry, I moved to New England in the late 1980's. My husband and I have a hard time being indoors if the sun is out! We enjoy our (very small) farm - growing our own food, making hay, and carpentry projects. I have 3 grown daughters, my husband has two - girls with families, successful careers, and on their own living elsewhere. We created this very nice complete guest wing in our house for their occasional visits - and also offer this space to other guests. Whether you are visiting friends or relatives, here for an event, on business, or a digital nomad - I think you'll find our guest area clean, quiet, and comfortable! I have an obsession with plants - and fancy bed sheets dried outdoors on the clothesline!
