Two bedroom,1-1/2 baths,downstairs game room. 6 miles outside of town on a great wooded lot,fabulous views,close proximity to skiing. Upstairs king bedroom,1/2 bath. Main floor has a kitchen,separate dining area,living room with a wood burning stove. A bedroom with queen bed. full bath and laundry facilities. Great deck with propane grill. Outside under the house is game room,pool table/ping pong table,fenced yard for pets. Included is Satellite TV & Wi-Fi.

We had so much fun decorating Teddy Cloud in a Santa Fe style with lots of Mexican tile and vivid colors that will make your stay unique. There is pretty much everything you could need to cook those wonderful meals to eat in the turquoise dining cove. Lots and lots of storage in the kitchen space makes it easy to get around when preparing those family meals. You'll have wifi (because we can't live without it) and you can watch cable tv or watch movies from the DVD to go with your late night popcorn and hot chocolate. The living room is really comfy and the kids (or adults) can go in the downstairs room to hang out and play pool or ping pong. The upstairs king size bed makes it easy to want to sleep in and the 1/2 bath is really handy so you're not running up and down stairs all night. Listen for the bugling of elk in the evenings, it's really something to hear. Families of deer and beautiful birds, including humming birds love to show you how happy they are to live in the forest while there. It's easy to see how beautiful the forest is on the ample deck that wraps around two sides of the house while you barbecue on the gas grill or rock in the double rocker before sitting outside to eat.

There is a 25.00 per pet per stay fee that can be paid by venmo or through airbnb. Maximum 3 dogs.

**The road to the cabin is not for motorcycles.

Cloudcroft has much to offer. It's friendly, has fun shopping, great food and numerous family and friend activities if you so choose. Ski Cloudcroft is a popular destination, along with other great activities. The Cloudcroft Chamber of Commerce list all of these: Camping, Alpine Skiing, Hiking, Mountain Biking, Fishing, Cross Country Skiing, Repelling, Snow Play, Museum, Festivals, Rodeo, Ice Skating, Tennis,Horseback Riding, Golf, Disc Golf, Scenic Byways, Fitness Trails and Street Dances. If you want to visit the Chamber of Commerce for information, it's in the village off Hwy 82 where there is a park, along with the ice skating rink in the same vicinity.

About Dave and Vicki Moffatt

Vicki and I live in Austin Texas. I'm a Boston native and she's a Texan-so we have an interesting time figuring out each other's accents! I work in the leadership development field and Vicki taught private voice but is now retired. Visiting the cabin 3-4 times a year to stay and vacation, and work on our cabin, is one of our favorite things to do. Vicki is a highly creative and hard-working renovation 'hobbyist', and along with other tradesmen, this property took over 4 months to renovate after purchase. She can't live without a project! Me-I'm the janitor and handyman. We don't have any kids, but we do have three dogs.
We purchased Teddy Cloud property in 2009 and set about to put our touch on it and make it all the things we love so we hope you love it too!

Why Dave and Vicki Moffatt chose New Mexico

When I first moved out west from Boston I ended up in New Mexico, and used to ride my motorcycle up into Cloudcroft. I promised myself I would one day buy a cabin in the Sacramento Mountains, and finally did it! New Mexico is a special place for us-my Mom and niece live in Las Cruces. Cloudcroft is a perfect getaway for us because it's so small and relatively undeveloped. Getting up to the mountains is something we plan for and anticipate all year. In 2020 we are settling after retirement to Las Cruces for family and to be closer to Cloudcroft to enjoy our cabin even more. We love New Mexico and hope you'll love it too! Dave and Vicki Moffatt
