All guests have a private apartment, there is 1 apartment per level. So there is a lot of privacy. Downstairs we have a laundry, which you can use. We have a chocolate atelier, where you are always welcome ! The setting is immediately adjacent to the city's famous Graffiti Street. A tasting in the chocolate studio below is a must, after which stroll to some of Ghent's many boutiques, and perhaps the weekend antiques market in nearby St Jacob's Square. From the railway station, you take the MAIN tram line no 1 to the city centre, we are at 300m from the stop GRAVENSTEEN (castle)

Shaka Belgium is a chill place for a nice and relaxing time, away from the city but still close enough (right between Bruges and Ghent, 20km from the North Sea). The surrounding area boasts ample hiking routes, bike routes, forests, lakes, and enough nice little bars and restaurants to keep you satisfied for days to come. Het leukste moment van de dag toen ik er woonde, was opstaan met een kopje koffie op het terras in de zon. Heerlijk gewoon! Het station ligt op 2 minuten wandelafstand. Daar kan je fietsen huren. Gratis parking: randparking ‘Maria-Hendrikapark’ op 10 minuten wandelafstand. Buiten toeristentax, zijn er geen extra kosten.

Bij gunstige weersomstandigheden is de zee te horen in de achtertuin! Super mooie omgeving om te wandelen of te fietsen! Fietsen zijn te huren in het centrum . Er zijn meerdere fijne restaurants en strandpaviljoens in en buiten het dorp. Westkapelle ligt op de uiterste punt van Walcheren. Hier heeft men de meeste zonuren van Nederland!

Burgstraat 17 is an old Patrician house constructed in 1515. Later the house was split in 2 houses and became neglected for many years. In 2019 we started the renovation, with as only purpose, to keep the soul and respect the history and grandeur of the original house. Its exceptional history, unique architecture and central position made it worth doing so. Tears, joy and a lot of work resulted in the place where you are right now. We hope you enjoy and respect this place as much as we do.

Our Bruges house, nestled in the city center, is just a 2-minute walk from Market Square and other attractions. Tucked away on a quiet street, it ensures a peaceful night's sleep. The ground floor offers a private bedroom with a spacious ensuite bathroom, a personal kitchen with a Nespresso machine, fridge, and more, along with a small courtyard. The only shared space is the entrance hall, as I live upstairs. Enjoy comfort and tranquility in the heart of Bruges.

La TOUR a FOLLY in Bruges (free private parking)

The Tower is situated in the historic centre of Bruges, in a quiet neighbourhood at some eight minutes’ walk from the ‘Markt’. In the 18th century the tower was reconstructed as a ‘folly’, characteristic of the period. We are proud to say that our family has supported this heritage for more than 215 years. In 2009 we reconstructed it using refined decoration and catering for all modern conveniences. Last but not least: free private parking in our big garden
