The "Westward House" on Dallas Lake offers stunning westward sunset views, modern/mid-century/Scandi design, and abundant natural light with water views from nearly every room. Located on the Indian Chain of Lakes, it provides full access to a two-story home with heated floors, a gas fireplace, four bedrooms, and a screened porch. Outdoor amenities include a dock, boat ramp, loungers, and a fire pit. Nearby activities include pontoon rentals, a sandbar and Shipshewana/Amish Country attractions.

The Carney Inn

The Carney Inn is located at 215 N. Detroit St., it was built in 1869 by Captain Harley Crocker. The Victorian home was restored by Estella and Rollin “Sam” Carney in 1991. This beautiful and historical home is located in downtown Lagrange and is within walking distance to local restaurants and shops, and only a block away from the beautiful Lagrange County courthouse. Just minutes away lies the town of Shipshewana, where one can find one of the largest Amish communities in the U.S.

A quiet, neighborhood street circles the lake and is perfect for strolls, including to the public beach or yummy Wall Lake Tavern.

Wake to the clop clop of a horse and buggy going by. The town of Topeka is often bustling with Amish people in buggies, on bikes or on foot. You will be with in walking distance of three restaurants Tiffany’s Restaurant, Topeka Pizza, and a Mexican restaurant called Elzorrito’s, 2 parks, a public library, a coffee shop, Save A Lot grocery store, and numerous other shops where you can spend your time browsing.
