The main feature of this room is a massive half tester bed from a Louisiana mansion converted into a queen size with curtains & valences. Fine linens adorn the bed from such brands as Frette, Pratesi, DeLorme, Sferra, Hotel Collection & Matouk some with Alencon and Point Venise lace trim including down pillows or there is a PrimaLoft option as well. The other antiques include a dresser with an elaborately carved mirror, a tall secretary with fretwork, a marble topped washstand for nightstands, an antique gas/electric light fixture & a sling-back two-piece chaise lounge. There is a TV available for streaming internet content. The bathroom features an impressive whirlpool tub. It has 8 jets to soak away aches & strains along with a seated area in tub & a wall shower for quick bathing as well. The steep stairs and low ceilings are part of the charm but may not be for everyone. The brand new full bath offers a sit down shower for taller guests, shorter guests can stand or sit. Guest do not have access to cooking facilities but you are invited to join us for breakfast in the morning everyday.

We have a large loft area, with a private full bath. It is the whole upstairs in my house. There is no door between the upstairs and downstairs. There is a comfy couch, loveseat with two recliners & a large TV. There are two California Twin Beds pushed together making a King size Bed. We have a stair chair to get up the steep stairs. We have two dogs and a cat & a great backyard with a tiny pond.
