Only town with beach in front, its is ok to walk around 5th avenue, get an ice cream and stop by at any restaurant by the beach to have a margarita or a delicious fresh fish with a Mexican bier or a tequila shoot!

Best place to visit the Coral reef and small town with cute restaurants, a day excursion is enough, do not miss to visit Playa el Cielo with tons of Sea stars, please dont touch them or remove them, they die, human fat of our fingers kill them .

Cute little town, caribean style, very relax atmosphere, ferry goes from Cancun, worth visit for a few hours too.

Hotel zone is large, how ever a worth point with huge beach is PLAYA DELFINES, call the viewer, there is a little site museum called SAN GERVASIO RUINS, worth the visit, booth are near to eachother.
for the rest i do recommend to eat at a place call HIJAS DE LA TOSTADA at the hotel zone, view to lagoon, so worth at Sunset!!!

The only Spaniard closest settlement left in this area. Worth the visit, is on the way to Chiche itza, visit the church of the XVI century and try the Yucatan food at the restaurant opposite corner to Church.

We offer free bikes included in your reservation.
Taxis can be expensive in the long term, we recomend rent a car, is worth as you can visit the most important places.
Never park in the beach road, you can be towed by police, fine cost 700 usd and 6 hours of your life! pay a parking spot always.
At parking in city , choose white line always, yellow line is not allowed.
Always call your Host if you get stop by police to help you to translate instant.

Best place to buy Hand made Art is inside Chichen itza, they are artisans and prices are really cheap compare to other places.
Best place to buy other handcrafts like hamocks and ornaments of all kind, baskets etc is in town FRANCISCO UH MAY! its 15 minuts away from Tulum in the road to Coba

Bring basics for Tropical weather
Pack: Mosquito repelent, Sunblock, After sun cream, some pain killers, some medecine to fight stomach infections since your diet will be so different, you might be forcing your gut and digestive system, pack some hat, a raincoat and a light jacket, comfortable shoes and sport shoes to walk and explore ruins, ground can be slippery , so you need good grip in your shoes. This include to bring wet shoes for cenotes, they are very slippery, High hells are not best for beach, instead some wages can work you out better in the sand.
