• Bedroom 1 (Main Level Master): Twin-over-Full bunk bed with Twin trundle (3 beds total). This master bedroom is on the main floor (ground level) and also doubles as a mini-suite: it contains the in-unit washer & dryer tucked in a closet, plus a work desk and chair for those needing a workspace. It’s a versatile room that can sleep up to 4 (two on the full, one on the top twin bunk, one on the trundle). We often see parents take the full bed and a kid in the twin or trundle, but it works for any combination. A Smart TV is mounted in this room as well.
• Bedroom 2 (Main Level): This is the “bunk room extraordinaire” – it has a Twin-over-Full bunk bed with Twin trundle and an additional Twin-over-Twin bunk bed (5 beds total in one room!). Yes, you read that right: this one bedroom holds two bunk sets. This setup is a hit with kids or young adults – it feels like summer camp, but with much nicer bedding! Up to 5 individuals can sleep separately here (or more if sharing the full). Despite the number of beds, the room is arranged thoughtfully so that there’s still space to move around. There’s a work desk and chair in this room too, as well as a Smart TV. We also provide some storage bins for keeping everyone’s luggage organized since the closet is partially used for extra bedding storage.
• Bedroom 3 (Upper Level): Full-over-Full bunk bed with Twin trundle (3 beds total). Located upstairs, this bedroom is spacious and includes a cozy sitting area with a couple of chairs and a coffee table – a nice little retreat within the room. The decor here is calm and minimalist. Two full beds (one over the other) mean this room can handle up to 4 guests comfortably (two per full, one on trundle if needed). It’s great for a couple wanting some extra space, or a group of friends. As with other rooms, a Smart TV is on the wall.
• Bedroom 4 (Upper Level): Full bed + portable crib (1 bed + crib). The fourth bedroom is set up as an adult-friendly room with a standard full-size bed, ideal for one or two people. It’s a quieter, simpler room – perfect for someone who might want a bit more privacy or less of the bunk bed environment. In the closet, we have a portable crib (Pack ’n Play style) that you can set up in any room, but this room has enough space to accommodate it if parents with a baby prefer to room together. In total, there are 12 separate mattresses across these 4 bedrooms. This provides incredible flexibility for sleeping arrangements, especially if you have a mix of singles and couples or lots of kids. We also have a living room futon that can sleep 1 person as an extra (not counted in the 12). All bedrooms have their own locked doors for privacy, and we provide fresh linens and quilts for every bed. You’ll find extra pillows and blankets in the closets. Each room has a cooling unit (either a window AC or a portable AC in summer) and central heating for winter.

You’ll have two bathrooms, one on each level of the duplex, both fully renovated and stocked. The main level bathroom features a modern shower with glass sliding doors and nice tile work. The upper-level bathroom has a tub/shower combo (great for those who prefer a bath or for bathing kids) with a curved hotel-style shower rod for extra space. We provide hotel-grade toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash) in dispensers, and each bathroom comes with a set of plush towels for your group. A hairdryer is stored under each sink. The vanities are new and have space for your items, and we put out travel essentials (like soap, lotion, etc.). Ventilation fans in each bathroom keep things fresh. We pay close attention to bathroom cleanliness – expect them to be sparkling on arrival. Also, you’ll never run out of hot water thanks to our upgraded water heating system, which was designed to handle a larger group (within reason – if all 12 beds were occupied and everyone showered back-to-back, hot water could dip, but typical usage is fine).

The kitchen is fully stocked and ready for your culinary adventures or simple meals alike. It features brand-new stainless-steel appliances: a large fridge/freezer, gas stove and oven, microwave, and dishwasher. The sleek white cabinetry holds all the cookware and dishware you’ll need. We provide pots and pans of various sizes, baking sheets, a crockpot (slow cooker), blender, toaster, and of course a coffee maker (Keurig with complimentary pods and a drip coffee machine with filters). In addition, you’ll find plates, bowls, cups, mugs, and utensils for a large group, including plastic kids’ dishes. A basic spice rack, salt, pepper, cooking oil, and sugar are provided so you don’t have to buy the basics. Whether you’re whipping up a big breakfast or just reheating pizza, this kitchen will serve you well.
Adjacent to the kitchen, there’s a dining area with a table that seats 6. We also keep fold-out tables and extra chairs which you can set up if you want a larger communal meal with everyone in one place. On nice days, some guests also like to dine outside at the patio table (more on the backyard next). If you prefer to eat out, there are numerous restaurants that deliver or are a short walk away – we list our favorites in the house manual (from a fantastic local pizzeria to a trendy brunch spot).

One of the perks of The Deluxe is the outdoor space. Step out back to find a delightful patio (ground level) furnished with outdoor seating and a table. In the evenings, string lights create a lovely ambiance – perfect for enjoying a drink or dinner al fresco in the warmer months. We have a charcoal BBQ grill available for guest use. Fired it up and have a cookout! There’s nothing like grilling up some food after a day of exploring. We provide grill utensils; just bring charcoal and your favorite foods. This patio is part of a shared backyard. Since this is a two-family home, if the other small unit is occupied (typically by our on-site manager or occasionally another set of guests with separate entrance), they also have access. However, when you rent the “Entire Home” Deluxe 4BR, usually the other unit is not being used by short-term guests, so you’ll often have the backyard mostly to yourselves. We simply ask that after 10pm, you move any conversations or activities indoors to respect our neighbors in this residential area.

The Deluxe is equipped with lightning-fast Gigabit internet (1000 Mbps), which can handle many devices streaming or working simultaneously. We specifically upgraded this because we often host large groups where multiple people might be on Zoom calls or streaming sports, etc., at the same time. If you need to work remotely, you’re in good hands. There are two dedicated desks (in Bedroom 1 and Bedroom 2 on the main floor) and an additional desk in Bedroom 4 upstairs. So up to three people can comfortably work on a laptop with a proper chair and desk. Plus, plenty of quiet nooks if you just need to open a laptop briefly. We haven’t forgotten the power needs either – you’ll find multiple outlets and some power strips/USB chargers around.

🔑 Check-In Details:
This is a self-check-in property. The entrance to the Deluxe 4BR unit is via a private door (no shared lobby) with an electronic lock. We will send your unique code and instructions prior to arrival. The door is at ground level (just 3 small steps up to the door), so getting in and out is easy – great for loading luggage or for any guests with mobility issues (note: there is one flight of internal stairs to reach the upper level bedrooms, so the space isn’t fully wheelchair accessible). We offer flexible check-in/out when possible – just ask if you have specific needs and we will try to accommodate (we know flights can arrive late or early, etc.).
👥 On-Site Manager & Support:
As part of Bayonne’s regulations, a designated responsible party resides on-site or nearby. In our case, we have a friendly team member who often stays in the separate unit if guests are in the Deluxe. They have their own entrance and won’t interfere with your stay; however, you might see them in passing or tending to the property. Feel free to say hi – they are there to ensure everything runs smoothly. And, as always, our main hosting team is just a message away. We respond 24/7 on the app or phone. We also provide a contact sheet in the house with important numbers (including ours, plus emergency services, hospital, etc.).
🚫 House Rules & Important Notes:
We ask that all guests honor a few important rules so we can continue offering this great space to visitors:
• No Parties or Events: This home is situated in a family-friendly neighborhood, and while it’s large, it’s not to be used for parties. Bachelor/bachelorette groups looking for a wild party spot – this isn’t it. We welcome respectful groups and gatherings but anything that could disturb neighbors or damage the property is prohibited.
• Quiet Hours: 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Please move any loud conversations or music indoors by 10pm, and even inside keep it respectful after that hour. Sound can travel at night, and we aim to keep our community relations positive.
• Occupancy: Max 8 adults allowed, plus children. This is per city law (2 adults per bedroom). If your group has more than 8 adults, we unfortunately cannot accept the booking. We do strictly enforce this with on-site personnel. However, we can accommodate quite a few kids in addition to 8 adults, given the many beds – just let us know your group makeup so we ensure compliance.
• Registered Guests Only: Only those guests listed in your reservation are allowed to stay overnight. Any visitor who stays past 10pm is considered an overnight guest. If you have a local friend or family member in the area, they are welcome to visit during the day, but they must leave by quiet hours.
• No Smoking Indoors: Absolutely no smoking or vaping inside the house. If you need to smoke, use the back patio or outside the front, and please use an ashtray or can for butts (don’t litter). A hefty cleaning fee will be charged if indoor smoking is detected as we have to do deep cleaning to remove odors.
• No Pets: We do not allow pets in this unit to maintain an allergy-friendly environment. We make exceptions only for certified service animals with proper documentation (and even then, never on furniture/beds).
• General Respect: Treat the home kindly. This is a labor of love for us, and many hours have gone into making it special. We kindly ask you follow check-out instructions (which are simple: basically, just lock up and don’t leave a big mess – no need for heavy cleaning, that’s on us). If anything breaks or you notice an issue, notify us promptly. We understand accidents happen; we’re approachable about it.

• Bedroom 2 (Main Level): This is the “bunk room extraordinaire” – it has a Twin-over-Full bunk bed with Twin trundle and an additional Twin-over-Twin bunk bed (5 beds total in one room!). Yes, you read that right: this one bedroom holds two bunk sets. This setup is a hit with kids or young adults – it feels like summer camp, but with much nicer bedding! Up to 5 individuals can sleep separately here (or more if sharing the full). Despite the number of beds, the room is arranged thoughtfully so that there’s still space to move around. There’s a work desk and chair in this room too, as well as a Smart TV. We also provide some storage bins for keeping everyone’s luggage organized since the closet is partially used for extra bedding storage.
• Bedroom 3 (Upper Level): Full-over-Full bunk bed with Twin trundle (3 beds total). Located upstairs, this bedroom is spacious and includes a cozy sitting area with a couple of chairs and a coffee table – a nice little retreat within the room. The decor here is calm and minimalist. Two full beds (one over the other) mean this room can handle up to 4 guests comfortably (two per full, one on trundle if needed). It’s great for a couple wanting some extra space, or a group of friends. As with other rooms, a Smart TV is on the wall.
• Bedroom 4 (Upper Level): Full bed + portable crib (1 bed + crib). The fourth bedroom is set up as an adult-friendly room with a standard full-size bed, ideal for one or two people. It’s a quieter, simpler room – perfect for someone who might want a bit more privacy or less of the bunk bed environment. In the closet, we have a portable crib (Pack ’n Play style) that you can set up in any room, but this room has enough space to accommodate it if parents with a baby prefer to room together. This bedroom also has a Smart TV and a dresser for storage. It’s located next to the upstairs bathroom, which is convenient at night.
In total, there are 12 separate mattresses across these 4 bedrooms. This provides incredible flexibility for sleeping arrangements, especially if you have a mix of singles and couples or lots of kids. We also have a living room futon that can sleep 1 person as an extra (not counted in the 12). All bedrooms have their own locked doors for privacy, and we provide fresh linens and quilts for every bed. You’ll find extra pillows and blankets in the closets. Each room has a cooling unit (either a window AC or a portable AC in summer) and central heating for winter.
🛁 2 Full Bathrooms
You’ll have two bathrooms, one on each level of the duplex, both fully renovated and stocked. The main level bathroom features a modern shower with glass sliding doors and nice tile work. The upper-level bathroom has a tub/shower combo (great for those who prefer a bath or for bathing kids) with a curved hotel-style shower rod for extra space. We provide hotel-grade toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash) in dispensers, and each bathroom comes with a set of plush towels for your group. A hairdryer is stored under each sink. The vanities are new and have space for your items, and we put out travel essentials (like soap, lotion, etc.). Ventilation fans in each bathroom keep things fresh. We pay close attention to bathroom cleanliness – expect them to be sparkling on arrival. Also, you’ll never run out of hot water thanks to our upgraded water heating system, which was designed to handle a larger group (within reason – if all 12 beds were occupied and everyone showered back-to-back, hot water could dip, but typical usage is fine).
🍽 Fully Equipped Kitchen & Dining
The kitchen is fully stocked and ready for your culinary adventures or simple meals alike. It features brand-new stainless-steel appliances: a large fridge/freezer, gas stove and oven, microwave, and dishwasher. The sleek white cabinetry holds all the cookware and dishware you’ll need. We provide pots and pans of various sizes, baking sheets, a crockpot (slow cooker), blender, toaster, and of course a coffee maker (Keurig with complimentary pods and a drip coffee machine with filters). In addition, you’ll find plates, bowls, cups, mugs, and utensils for a large group, including plastic kids’ dishes. A basic spice rack, salt, pepper, cooking oil, and sugar are provided so you don’t have to buy the basics. Whether you’re whipping up a big breakfast or just reheating pizza, this kitchen will serve you well.
Adjacent to the kitchen, there’s a dining area with a table that seats 6. We also keep fold-out tables and extra chairs which you can set up if you want a larger communal meal with everyone in one place. On nice days, some guests also like to dine outside at the patio table (more on the backyard next). If you prefer to eat out, there are numerous restaurants that deliver or are a short walk away – we list our favorites in the house manual (from a fantastic local pizzeria to a trendy brunch spot).
🌳 Outdoor Patio & Grill
One of the perks of The Deluxe is the outdoor space. Step out back to find a delightful patio (ground level) furnished with outdoor seating and a table. In the evenings, string lights create a lovely ambiance – perfect for enjoying a drink or dinner al fresco in the warmer months. We have a charcoal BBQ grill available for guest use. Fired it up and have a cookout! There’s nothing like grilling up some food after a day of exploring. We provide grill utensils; just bring charcoal and your favorite foods. This patio is part of a shared backyard. Since this is a two-family home, if the other small unit is occupied (typically by our on-site manager or occasionally another set of guests with separate entrance), they also have access. However, when you rent the “Entire Home” Deluxe 4BR, usually the other unit is not being used by short-term guests, so you’ll often have the backyard mostly to yourselves. We simply ask that after 10pm, you move any conversations or activities indoors to respect our neighbors in this residential area.
⚡ High-Speed Internet & Workstations:
The Deluxe is equipped with lightning-fast Gigabit internet (1000 Mbps), which can handle many devices streaming or working simultaneously. We specifically upgraded this because we often host large groups where multiple people might be on Zoom calls or streaming sports, etc., at the same time. If you need to work remotely, you’re in good hands. There are two dedicated desks (in Bedroom 1 and Bedroom 2 on the main floor) and an additional desk in Bedroom 4 upstairs. So up to three people can comfortably work on a laptop with a proper chair and desk. Plus, plenty of quiet nooks if you just need to open a laptop briefly. We haven’t forgotten the power needs either – you’ll find multiple outlets and some power strips/USB chargers around.
🚍 Nearby Attractions:
Bayonne itself offers some hidden gems – you can visit the Bayonne Bridge, which was once the longest arch bridge in the world, or the Tear of Grief 9/11 Memorial for a moving experience. For families, the Bayonne Waterfront Park and playgrounds are nice local outings. But of course, the big draw is the proximity to New York City, Jersey City’s Liberty State Park (don’t miss the ferry to Ellis Island/Statue of Liberty!), and attractions like the American Dream Mall (with its theme park, water park, and shops) just a 20-minute drive away. Sports fans will appreciate being within 30 minutes of MetLife Stadium. If you have a cruise departure, we’re only about 5 minutes from the Cape Liberty Cruise Port (Royal Caribbean). We truly are in the center of it all, while still being in a quiet, safe community.
🔑 Check-In Details:
This is a self-check-in property. The entrance to the Deluxe 4BR unit is via a private door (no shared lobby) with an electronic lock. We will send your unique code and instructions prior to arrival. The door is at ground level (just 3 small steps up to the door), so getting in and out is easy – great for loading luggage or for any guests with mobility issues (note: there is one flight of internal stairs to reach the upper level bedrooms, so the space isn’t fully wheelchair accessible). We offer flexible check-in/out when possible – just ask if you have specific needs and we will try to accommodate (we know flights can arrive late or early, etc.).
👥 On-Site Manager & Support:
As part of Bayonne’s regulations, a designated responsible party resides on-site or nearby. In our case, we have a friendly team member who often stays in the separate unit if guests are in the Deluxe. They have their own entrance and won’t interfere with your stay; however, you might see them in passing or tending to the property. Feel free to say hi – they are there to ensure everything runs smoothly. And, as always, our main hosting team is just a message away. We respond 24/7 on the app or phone. We also provide a contact sheet in the house with important numbers (including ours, plus emergency services, hospital, etc.).
🚫 House Rules & Important Notes:
We ask that all guests honor a few important rules so we can continue offering this great space to visitors:
• No Parties or Events: This home is situated in a family-friendly neighborhood, and while it’s large, it’s not to be used for parties. Bachelor/bachelorette groups looking for a wild party spot – this isn’t it. We welcome respectful groups and gatherings but anything that could disturb neighbors or damage the property is prohibited.
• Quiet Hours: 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Please move any loud conversations or music indoors by 10pm, and even inside keep it respectful after that hour. Sound can travel at night, and we aim to keep our community relations positive.
• Occupancy: Max 8 adults allowed, plus children. This is per city law (2 adults per bedroom). If your group has more than 8 adults, we unfortunately cannot accept the booking. We do strictly enforce this with on-site personnel. However, we can accommodate quite a few kids in addition to 8 adults, given the many beds – just let us know your group makeup so we ensure compliance.
• Registered Guests Only: Only those guests listed in your reservation are allowed to stay overnight. Any visitor who stays past 10pm is considered an overnight guest. If you have a local friend or family member in the area, they are welcome to visit during the day, but they must leave by quiet hours.
• No Smoking Indoors: Absolutely no smoking or vaping inside the house. If you need to smoke, use the back patio or outside the front, and please use an ashtray or can for butts (don’t litter). A hefty cleaning fee will be charged if indoor smoking is detected as we have to do deep cleaning to remove odors.
• No Pets: We do not allow pets in this unit to maintain an allergy-friendly environment. We make exceptions only for certified service animals with proper documentation (and even then, never on furniture/beds).
• General Respect: Treat the home kindly. This is a labor of love for us, and many hours have gone into making it special. We kindly ask you follow check-out instructions (which are simple: basically, just lock up and don’t leave a big mess – no need for heavy cleaning, that’s on us). If anything breaks or you notice an issue, notify us promptly. We understand accidents happen; we’re approachable about it.
