Stylish family apartment for four people max. In the middle of hip and vibrant Prenzlauer Berg. We live in the backyard and it's super calm. U2 and Ringbahn in front of the door make it easy to go everywhere in Berlin from here.

We live in a stylish and cosy little (87m2) city apartement in hip and trendy Prenzlauer Berg. We have one very large bedroom with a twin bed and another child room in which we can put a double-mattress on the floor. So four people could sleep here.

(We also have a room with our clothes and other stuff , but this will be closed while your stay - since we are away and need some storage ... :-( )

We have one bathroom with a tub, a kitchen with a table for five and the entrance hall, which is rather the "heart" of our place, with a sofa, some art etc.

We don't have a TV, but we can offer highspeed w-lan instead, so it is no problem at all e.g. to download and watch movies.

We love our home and we affectionately furnished and decorated it. So we hope you will enjoy your stay! Btw: We are totally prepared to have families here, especially with small children (our daughter is 10 years old) - don't hesitate to bring your kids.

Though we live right on the Schönhauser Allee it is surprisingly calm in our apartement, since we live in the backyard. We live on the 3rd floor, without elevator. We don't have any balconies and our apartement ist not really fled with sunlight, since all the windows reach into the yard. But it is cool in summer and cosy in winter.

Welcome to crazy, stylish, historic, trendy, inspriring, arty, bohemian and avantgarde Berlin! Berlin is germany's biggest city, its capital and probably one of the coolest places to be at the moment. Apart from exquisit restaurants and bars, an extraordinary nightlife, numerous museums and galleries Berlin is loaded with european history. On almost every corner you can find artefacts of the cities vivid and vigorous past.

Our disctrict "Prenzlauer Berg" was in the former eastern part of town and since the wall came down the lifestyle here changed dramatically: in our neighbourhood you can experience the so called gentrification "at its best", which means you will find stylish, modern, avantgarde shops, cafés or galleries next to the typical "curry sausage" hut. Expensively renovated founding period buildings shine in new splendor next to decayed art nouveau houses. Hip and wealthy young couples live next door to the pensioner, who moved in in his twenties. It's a very family friendly area and it's contradictions and difficulties make it a very special place in the very middle of "Berlinesk" live.

The famous district "Mitte" is almost in walking distance - in summer it surely is, in winter we would recommend the U-Train or the tram. Both stop across the street (the station is called "Schönhauser Allee") and will take you to all the important sights within minutes. You can already see the Alexanderplatz and the "Fernsehturm" from our frontdoor. You can walk from here to the famous "Mauerpark", where you can still find some relicts of the wall, a famous and well sorted fleamarket on sundays (old furniture, vintage clothes and as well young designers selling their latest creations) or you might join the internationally known karaoke show.

Severine (49) ist Journalistin und lebt zusammen mit Emma (11), Grundschülerin. Wir lieben unser Zuhause, sind aber auch gerne unterwegs. Ein fauler Tag am Strand, mit Büchern, Drachensteigen und Sonne im Gesicht, erdet uns genauso wie gemeinsames Kochen vor einem Abend mit unserer aktuellen Lieblings-Serie. In Berlin genießen wir die Vielfalt des kulturellen Angebot, gehen gerne ins Kino, ins Theater, in Ausstellungen. Und wir lieben Essen. Dafür ist Berlin die perfekte Stadt. An jeder Ecke gibt es "best of" aller Kulturen – sei es im kleinen Imbiss neben dem Späti oder im international empfohlenen Hipster-Restaurant. Im Sommer erobern wir regelmäßig die vielen Badeseen rund um unsere Stadt. Oder liegen in einem der vielen Parks unter den Bäumen und lesen und lachen.

We love travelling, we like to spend days on the beach, reading and relaxing, we are passionate cooks and eaters. Of course we are interested in culture, politics and everyday life of another country. We also like to explore the cultural offers of a city like cinema, theater, exhibitions - and we love Berlin, our home. The diversity, the art, the food, the laughter on the streets and the easy living in the parks. In summer we regularly try to find a new hidden lake in the beautiful nature right on the doorstep to our city.
