MOONRIVER LODGE is a family-owned farmstay nestled in the temperate valley of Sigar Highlands. Guests have enjoyed returning to our humble farmstay , as we offer exceptional services and facilities, tucked away in a beautiful natural setting. We are highly suitable for individuals and families or simply for those wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of Cameron Highlands, seeking some respite in nature, yet near enough to venture out to Cameron Highlands.

About Us
Designed and hand built with love, Moonriver Lodge was established as an earthly home for the pioneers as they live and work on the land. The extensive and beautiful gardens are a result of various experiments using Permaculture and natural farming methods since we open our doors in June 2010.
We have hosted many families and individuals seeking reprieve from urban life and a back to nature experience. It is the home and heart of the growing community in Sigar Highlands.

About the Lodge
Moonriver Lodge has 14 rooms and 3 lodges, named after pioneers- Main Lodge, Lovelock Lodge and Mollison Lodge. We can accommodate up to 45 persons and highly suitable for retreats, team building and family gatherings.
All bathroom facilities are on Sharing basis and equipped with 24-hour hot water showers. Towels are provided in all rooms.
Paid Wi-Fi connection is
available at the lodge.

Here at Moonriver Lodge, we seek to provide not just a relaxing stay but also the opportunity to learn about nature and growing food. Join a trek to see the second largest flower in the world – the magnificent Rafflesia Kerrii.

We are 15 mins away from the nearest town Kampung Raja.
No trip to Cameron Highlands is complete without visiting the lush rolling hills of the Boh Tea Plantations, strawberry and vegetable farms. There are also flower nurseries, bee farms and butterfly farms. Be sure to check out the information guide at the lodge.

Moonriver Lodge is a family-owned farmstay nestled in the temperate valley of Sigar Highlands. The Lodge can accommodate up to 45 guests at one time, and is highly suitable for long or short-term retreats, team building events, and family gatherings. One can lie in a hammock, looking into the garden at the green expanse that soothes the eyes and calms the soul. This is a space where children can roam freely along the food garden paths. Guests have enjoyed returning to our humble bed & breakfast, as we offer homely services and facilities including a complimentary hot breakfast for each staying guest. Bathroom facilities are shared and equipped with 24-hour hot water showers. Our house pets consist of cats, dogs, rabbits, chickens, and a variety of frogs, lizards, caterpillars, and snails.

We are 12km (approximately a 25-minute drive) from Cameron Highlands. The closest town to us within touristic Cameron Highlands is Kampung Raja, and from Kuala Lumpur city it takes approximately 3 hours by car. Due to the fact the lodge is located away from major tourist towns, there is no cell reception on site and we currently do not have WIFI. Sit back, relax and enjoy the peace our cosy nook has to offer, but be sure to send all of your important messages before arriving on site.

Here at Moonriver Lodge, we seek to provide not just a relaxing stay but also the opportunity to learn about nature and growing food through educational ground tours. Harvest fresh vegetables, fruits and herbs from our kitchen garden to prepare a healthy organic meal, or join a trek to see the second largest flower in the world – the magnificent Rafflesia Kerrii.
