The location is close to the city of Corfu(11km), port(12km) and the airport(15km).
The island is famous for its beaches that are sure to satisfy every taste. The surrounding area offers lots of beaches such as Barbati(3km), Gouvia(7km), Sotiriotisa(11km), Kerasia(15km) and the famous cosmopolitan beaches of Palaiokastritsa(17km) and Canal d’amour(25km). Many of them have water sports establishments, cosmopolitan beach bars, coffee shops and an intense nightlife.
In the nearby town of Corfu you will have the chance to admire many cultural and historical sights such as The old town, the Old and New Fortress, Mon repos and the square of Spiniada, the archeological museum and museum of Chinese art and Liston. Just a small car ride away you can visit Achilleon(25km) and the trademark of the island, Pontikonisi(20km)
