Charming COUNTRY farm house dates back to pre-civil war times, this evident by the beautiful wood work, beautiful wide plank floors. Large yard that is perfect for the kids or dog to run & play. This house is in the perfect central location, a short drive to many attractions around NY.

This COUNTRY HOME is centrally located, we are 20 miles from Cooperstown and Dreams Park (approximately 30 minutes). Glimmer glass is 15 Miles, 20 miles from Utica home to the Boilermaker 15k road race. A little closer to the house is the famous Erie Canal and you can take a boat ride down the canal, Herkimer Diamond Mines are not too far away, the local tavern and general store that serves breakfast are a short drive. A little farther away is Old Forge NY home to the largest water park in NY, also the gateway to the Adirondack state park. We are 40 minutes from Rome home to the historic Fort Stanwix and Griffiss Air Force base. Madison Bouckville Antiques are a short 30-minute drive.

Even though this is a Country home, we are a 7-minute drive to town.

Fall-several pumpkin patches and apple orchards located around us. We have beautiful fall leaf colors and are within an hour drive from the Adirondacks.

Winter months- we are close to our local snow mobile trials. If you are a lover of skiing, tubing or snowshoeing we have several ski resorts within an hour drive from the house.

I work full time as a mammographer and XR tech, mom to 3 boys (20, 17 and 11), bonus son (23) and bonus daughter (18). Wife to my soul mate Jeff or as my boys call him “FARMER”- he is a hard working self employed bovine podiatrist—And one of our great Marine Corp veterans!

We live across the road from the house, so most of the time we are available if you need anything. We value and respect your privacy, unless you want to meet us, we will let you enjoy the house and location. My husband and I both grew up in the area and are very familiar with the region.

Just a note- our 4-legged canine princes Willie (bigger) and Toby (smaller) will bark and greet you from across the road. THEY cannot and will not cross the road.

Remi our 4-legged feline queen may come over to see you. She will try to charm you into letting her in the house with her purring. PLEASE don't let her in-she will come back home eventually.

At times there may be some equine vagrant neighbors, they are like large dogs but before you interact with them, please just let me know. This is a hit and miss kind of schedule.

New to the farm are my 11-year-old son's chickens. The ladies are tucked away from the house. So, you may see us walking over to the barn-feeding and trying to collect their butt nuggets. If they are not on strike or playing hide n seek with the butt nuggets- you can help collect the butt nuggets and they are yours to eat. Don't worry we don't allow roosters-so no early morning wake up alarms.
