Hi, we're Negus and Bezaye, a free-spirited Ethio-British couple who have recently relocated to Bahir Dar from Addis Ababa with our beautiful baby daughter Selah, out of the smoke and the choke and into the beautiful air and peaceful vibes of Bahir Dar. We've both travelled extensively within Ethiopia. Bezaye mostly for work and myself as a solo traveller. Our belief is that there should be nothing unusual about returning home from travelling without spending the whole budget - we'll be happy to give you some practical tips on how to achieve this. We've temporarily acquired a unique living arrangement from an exceptionally gifted local artist, a space which we'd like to help him share with the world. If you'd like us to guide you beyond the typical tourist scenes here in Bahir Dar to unveil to you the lesser known local gems we'd be more than happy to. We'll ensure that you have an organic and memorable experience during your time here at the source of the Blue Nile. The spring where the Blue Nile literally begins is half-a-day trip away. All travellers passing through Bahir Dar on the Northern circuit should make arrangements to take a refreshing break within the walls of this creative space, even if it's just a fleeting visit. p.s We seem to of defeated the mosquitos, we've been mosquito free here for a few weeks. kind of unheard of around these parts.
