Pilgrim Cottage is situated at the foot of the majestic Croagh Patrick in the picturesque fishing village of Murrisk, just 8km outside of the bustling Westport. Nestled between the mountain and Clew Bay, the cottage offers breath-taking panoramic views. Pilgrim Cottage is within a couple of minutes walk from the award winning gastro pub The Tavern and also the traditional pub Campbells. The perfect base to explore the Wild Atlantic Way, cycle on the Greenway or to visit the Blue Flag beaches.

Pilgrim Cottage offers 3 bedrooms, 2 reception rooms and a kitchen/diner. A travel cot is available on request. There is a large back garden perfect for children to play in. The front garden offers stunning views of Croagh Patrick and is enclosed by a gate. This historical cottage was built in the 1940s but has recently been renovated and has all the conveniences of modern day living including WiFi, Netflix, TV, Dvd player, dishwasher, Nespresso machine with complimentary pods and central heating. It is advisable not to drink the tap water in Murrisk, but a supply of bottled water will be left for guests.

Murrisk is the gateway to Croagh Patrick which is one of Ireland's most popular tourist attractions. Guests can take on the challenge to hike to the summit or to choose to just do part of it. Bertra Strand is a beautiful beach only a few minutes drive from Pilgrim Cottage and the Old Head Beach about 10 minutes away is stunning. Other Blue flag beaches in the nearby Louisburgh are ideal for surfers. The Greenway is the perect facility for cycling enthusiasts.
