What first started as a pool house and functional space for the overnight guests of the Klaver family became the small business dream of Clay and Lisa. Klaver Cottage is a studio style space for travelers to rent located just outside of Joplin, Missouri.

Lisa is a middle school principal; kids and a good cup of coffee are her passion! If she isn't working you will most likely find her watching 1 of 2 kids playing a sport or performing at a music recital. Clay is retired from the United States Air Force after serving 26 years. His passions are cooking and entertaining people who like to eat what he cooks! The Klaver's are in the beginning stages of a classic car rental business. They have a 66 Ford Mustang that is finished and ready for rent. A 64 1/2 Ford Mustang, a 67 Ford Mustang, a 64 Buick Skylark, 69 Plymouth Roadrunner, 59 F100 and a 64 Ford Galaxie all in the shop being restored at the present time. If you are ever interested in renting a car to take a trip down Old Route 66 or for anything else we will be able to hook you up soon!
