Spacious Lakeside Heritage Century Home located in a private landscaped cove in Milford Bay, on Lake Muskoka. Decorated with local crafts from the pottery in the kitchen, to the hand made quilts inspired by the local scenery.

The house is spacious, classic and cozy, with a wood-burning fireplace (wood is provided). Typical of Century homes, it has a spacious 100 year old feeling, with updated wooden windows and insulation. Bedrooms have lake, garden or forest views. The private property has tiered levels, connected by stone paths down to the lakeside docks. A large granite rock face slopes down to the water from the house and creates a smooth shoreline. There is an outdoor fire pit down at the lake. A canoe and small kayak are available to use.

Guests have access to a private 3 acre lakeside property. It is partly landscaped and part forest. Walk off the property and there are trails, open areas, and forests to explore.

This is a country property, where you may encounter snow and other extreme weather. The house is snug, but the heat is kept low when no one is there and needs to be turned on upon arrival. In the event of a hydro interruption (indicated by clocks flashing) the water pump in the basement will need to be re-set by pushing a button. The house is on a septic system, so it is imperative that nothing goes into the toilets except human waste and toilet paper.
