This heated yurt offers a unique way to enjoy Santa Fe. For those who want to camp with a flair, this 30 ft diameter yurt is beyond a tent but not quite a house. We designed an experience with your comfort in mind. Although there is no running water, there is a makeshift kitchen with 5 gallon containers for drinking and washing. The outhouse is a short walk from the yurt. Set in the pinon pine forest, this yurt is ready for your memorable Santa Fe visit!

This affordable Santa Fe experience is not for everyone. There are 8 steps that lead up to the yurt so guests should be confidant on their feet. It is rustic since it has no running water but it does have a gas heater and electricity. We have tried to make it just as comfortable as it can be though with a comfy king sized bed, nice furnishings, a microwave, barbecue, solar shower and outhouse. It is a unique experience for those who have an adventurous spirit. We think you will like it a lot!

Hello. I love nature and live three miles up a dirt road surrounded by the Santa Fe National Forest in the mountains of New Mexico. This is about as far away from Wayne, NJ, where I grew up, as I can be. I have a very independent spirit which is why I've spent most of my life being self employed. I've been a potter, construction worker and am now reinventing myself while hosting interesting guests (like you!) from far away in one of the three homes my husband and I have built or renovated with our own two hands or one of the houses I am tending for our neighbors. Our greatest work together and the light of our lives though is our daughter, Reina, born on the cusp of a century in 1999. Some of the things we like to do as a family are going to the Santa Fe Opera or watching productions of the Santa Fe Shakespeare Society or watching Reina perform in her own dramatic roles on stage. I look forward to working for you and sharing these very special places with you while making your visit to the Santa Fe area the best vacation you could possible have. As a host, I will do my best to provide the things you want and need to make your stay a pleasant one. I am very unobtrusive~you may never see me, but if you would like a tour of the area, I would be happy to do that too. If anything goes wrong, I will be right there to fix it. Please let me know if you have any issues or concerns during your stay. I want it to be perfect.
