The MORNING GROUP WALKING TOUR of Palermo lasts 3 hours. My group tour is not just a food tour, but it's a mix of history, culture, architecture, monuments and street food. The MORNING GROUP WALKING TOUR starts at 9.30 am, with me or with my team of official Tour Guides and we will walk for about 4 km. In the first part of the Walking Tour we will visit monuments and churches and in the second part of the Walking Tour we will explore the big outdoor food market and we will eat the famous street food of Palermo (food included, no fish). After the lesson we can sit down together to enjoy the fruits of our labour along with a selection of Sicilian wines rounded off with some homemade liqueurs and coffee. We believe that the true expression of Sicilian cuisine comes from the quality of its fresh seasonal produce so we strive to always ensure that we have the best of what Sicily has to offer in order to share this with our guests. This is an entertaining and informative day out, recommended for cooks of all levels. You will learn about the Mafia, its brutal violence and its business, as well as about the people who stood up against the power of the organised crime. We will stop in front of monuments, memorials and shops, each is connected with a particular aspect of our story. Sometimes a small detail, that seems unsignificant at first glance, has a story behind it that is worth to be told. Condurrò gli ospiti lungo percorsi naturalistici all'interno delle affascinanti riserve naturali che circondano la città di Palermo e non solo. E' possibile scegliere fra 5 itinerari naturalistici diversi che si sviluppano all'interno dei Monti di Palermo e che sceglieremo insieme secondo le vostre necessità e curiosità. L'itinerraio 1) Valle del fiume Oreto è caratterizzato da un percorso che fiancheggia il meraviglioso e fragile ecosistema ripariale e fluviale del fiume Oreto. Ci immergeremo all'interno di una rigogliosa foresta che si estende lungo le sponde del fiume, avendo modo di osservare la tipica e rara ripisilva siciliana. L'itinerario 2) riguarda i Monti di San Martino delle Scale, i monti che sovrastano l'antica città di Monreale. L'itinerario 3) si sviluppa lungo la cresta montuosa delle Serre della Pizzuta riserva naturale tra Altofonte e Piana degli Albanesi. Infine, gli itinerari 4) e 5) comprendono percorsi che si sviluppano all'interno delle riserve naturali orientate di Monte Pellegrino e Monte Gallo, i due sistemi montuosi frapposti fra la città di Palermo e il mare.

Il mio tour "Palermo fuori le mura" vi condurrà ad esplorare luoghi normalmente preclusi ai turisti e vi farà scoprire una città di borghi marinari con le loro antiche tonnare, affascinanti riserve naturali, e monumenti intrisi di storia e misticismo. Il percorso avrà come punto di partenza le borgate marinare di Arenella (con la visita alla Tonnara Florio, detta Quattro pizzi) e Vergine Maria (con un focus sulla Tonnara Bordonaro e leggende ad essa connesse). Si proseguirà lungo il litorale sino alla borgata marinara di Mondello, con la spiaggia più rinomata di Palermo. Da qui proseguiremo verso la meravigliosa Palazzina Cinese. Il percorso si concluderà con la salita a Monte Pellegrino, luogo mistico e sede del santuario dedicato a Santa Rosalia, protettrice della città di Palermo.

Goditi il tramonto a bordo di una barca, con partenze tutti i giorni alle 14:30 (in inverno) o alle 18:30 (in estate) dal Molo Trapezoidale di Marina Yachting. Dopo la partenza, ci dirigeremo verso la Grotta della Regina accompagnati da musica di sottofondo rilassante. Una volta ancorati, avrai l'opportunità di assaporare il nostro famoso aperitivo siciliano con Aperol Spritz per gli adulti e Coca Cola per i bambini. Le specialità includono sfincione, arancine, panelle, crocchè e il celebre cannolo palermitano. Opzioni vegane e senza glutine sono disponibili su richiesta, almeno 24 ore prima del tour. Nel pacchetto sono inclusi un ricco aperitivo salato, acqua fresca illimitata e cannoli siciliani riempiti a bordo dal nostro capitano. Sarà inoltre fornita attrezzatura per lo snorkeling, inclusi scooter subacquei, noodles e maschere, se desideri fare il bagno. Questo non è un semplice tour, ma una esperienza indimenticabile che unisce il folklore dei mercati storici all'unicità del cibo di strada palermitano. Durante questo tour avrai inoltre la possibilità di ammirare i monumenti più importanti della città. Attraverseremo suggestivi vicoli e piazze ricche di storie e aneddoti. Partiremo dalla piazza antistante il celebre Teatro Massimo, simbolo della città. Da qui ci dirigeremo verso lo storico mercato del Capo, dove avremo modo di ammirare l'anima più autentica della città. L'origine del mercato risale alla dominazione araba, e ancora oggi mantiene l'aspetto di un suk in cui la vista e l'udito vengono travolti da colori e suoni che vi rimarranno impressi. Qui ci fermeremo per degustare il tipico street food siciliano. Ci lasceremo il mercato alle spalle, per dirigerci verso la nostra splendida Cattedrale. Scenderemo quindi lungo l’asse principale del centro storico, ovvero la via Vittorio Emanuele, fino a giungere nel cuore del centro storico, ovvero i Quattro Canti. Il nostro tour proseguirà fino a raggiungere Piazza Bellini. Qui entreremo in un antico convento dove avrete la possibilità di assaggiare il miglior cannolo di Palermo. Infine ammireremo la bellissima Piazza della Vergogna, ricca di storia e di aneddoti.

Navigheremo lungo la costa di mondello(punto di inizio del nostro tour), riserva naturale di capogallo e mare permettendo fino a l' isolotto delle femmine . Bagni di sole e di mare previsti durante la navigazione. Tra le attività si potrà svolgere anche lo snorkeling. Aperitivo a bordo con vino bianco, birra e patatine. Durata del tour circa 4 ore e 30. Per qualsiasi domanda o richiesta tipo necessità diverse sull' orario non esitare a contattarmi prima di prenotare. Quindi visiteremo: - Addaura - Golfo di Mondello - Riserva di Capo Gallo - Grotta dell' olio - Golfo di sferracavallo - isolotto delle femmine.
