South facing with stone walled garden, from which you can survey a spectacular view 20 miles deep and 35 miles wide over the Tyne valley. The cottage is at 700 feet above sea level and you feel you are on the roof of England. It is situated in a quiet rural location 2 miles from both Hexham and Corbridge and half an hour from Newcastle.
Cosy cottage with log burner.We are 3 miles from the historic village of Corbridge with its great shops, pubs and restaurants, one and a half miles from Hadrian's Wall, 20 minutes from airport and 25 minutes from Newcastle. This is a newly refurbished old stable which is a cosy hideaway in the Tyne Valley. Extensive walks are available on this working farm. It is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and dogs (sorry, no cats). Sadly owing to recent experiences we now need to charge £5 per dog per night.
Attractive stone built mid terraced cottageBramble Cottage is located within the beautiful Northumbrian village of Barrasford. It is on the edge of the Northumberland National Park and close to Hadrian's Wall. The village has an award winning pub and a friendly village shop. Shopping, arts and culture along with fantastic restaurants and coffee shops can be found in the nearby historic towns of Hexham and Corbridge and surrounding villages. It is a great base to discover all that Northumberland and the surrounding area has to offer.
