Glass Bottom Kayaking Eco Tour or Glow
Join us for a one of a kind tour of the San Marcos River! You will be learning about kayaking from an Olympian on a clear springs starting at the source and floating down to my house on the river. Our clear kayaks create a totally unique view of the river that you CANNOT miss! We will meet at 602 North Interstate 35 in San Marcos and get geared up. We will then travel together to our put in location on the upper San Marcos River. As we kayak back down, you will be given paddling tips and tricks, information about our unique river, along with an amazing view! Other things to note This is a moderately physical activity. It includes wading in the river, optional swimming, and kayaking!
Private Mixology Classes
Guests will arrive to Cellar Mixology through our secret door and will step into our speakeasy. After a tour and brief history of our bar, our Mixologist will introduce himself and will engage guests as he teaches how to make 2-3 cocktails. Guests will have a chance to take advantage of his mixologist experience and will be able to ask anything they want regarding mixology and bartending. Other things to note Guests must be 21+. Business casual attire recommended.

Wood-fired pizza on the ranch
A pizza making experience unlike any other. Join us out in the beautiful Texas hill country next to the wood fired oven hand built by me and my father. Throughout the course of your evening on our ranch Chef/Owner Ryan Hildebrand will walk you through the history of pizza and woodfired baking as well as break down each component of a true Neapolitan style pie. Guests will get a chance to interact with every part of the pizza making process as Ryan explains the “whys” behind this piece of culinary tradition. First the guests will arrive to a beverage and a brief introduction on the history of our ranch and then we will begin our conversation on techniques and traditions of pizza. After this we will move to shaping our own individual pies and begin assembling pizzas for baking. Kayak the Riverwalk
Come float among the trees with us. Experience great views of downtown neighborhoods and come back with a San Antonio memory most don't have. The San Antonio Paddling trail winds through the middle of downtown and is calm and tranquil making it a perfect tour for beginners and families. We will provide kayaks, all the equipment you need and guide you through one of the oldest and most historic areas of the city. You'll experience a quiet stretch of the San Antonio Riverwalk that most don't see.
Learn the art of stained glass
We'll start the beginner copper foil class with an overview of safety precautions and learning about the tools of the trade. You'll learn to cut glass using a pistol-grip cutter, running pliers, and grozing pliers. Once you feel comfortable cutting the clear practice glass, we'll move on to the main project. You will be given a pattern for a simple, five-piece suncatcher. You even get to choose your glass from my extensive selection! Expect to spend 3-4 hours in this class, as you progress from being a beginner to having a completed piece to display proudly. Our popular brewstillery tour is two tours in one! You’ll learn how we make beer and bourbon. This intimate, immersive experience includes a detailed guided tour and generous samples of our products. At the end of the tour we will sample a cask strength whiskey straight from the barrel, and one of our delicious bourbon chocolates. Great for groups, teams, and couples alike.
Tortilla workshop and Tex-Mex meal with chef in San Antonio
Learn how to make authentic flour tortillas by hand then enjoy a Tex-Mex meal together! After a quick intro, we'll talk about the ingredients and different variations you can choose from. Then you’ll start mixing! Throughout the process, I will work with each person to answer any questions that may arise. I will teach you some methods to help cook and store your flour tortillas. We will roll out as many tortillas you’d like, cook them, then pair them with some signature Tex-Mex ingredients that make for the best tacos. We will have food options available for all diets and allergies and both non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages available for guests. We'll provide all the ingredients and tools you'll need, so all you have to bring is clothes you’re not afraid to cook in, and your appetite! The Art of Traditional Neapolitan Pizza with Chef Daniel
If you are a San Antonio local or just visiting, this is an experience you'll definitely want to try. This unique dining and learning experience will have you enjoying every savory bite of your personally made pizza from the comfort of your home. 1st course- I will make introductions and present a market board with chef selected meat and cheese. 2nd course- Preperation and creation of your own dough with ingredients I provide. You will get to keep the dough you prepare with me for future use. 3rd course- I will bring prepared dough that have been proofed for 24 hrs. Using the same techniques we use. This dough you will stretch and flip understanding fundamental techniques. 4th course- You will pick,choose and create your own personel pizza to eat with chef selected ingredients. All ingredients will be provided and brought to your home or Airbnb. Only items you are providing is a kitchen and an oven. If you wish to enjoy your fresh Neapolitan pizza, bring your own alcoholic beverage to pair with the pizza party. Please note, this is a San Antonio Tx, experience only. After discussing the rich and varied history of this classic San Antonio establishment we will take a look into another of San Antonio’s most historic bars and explore the associated history. Making Soap in Wimberley
You'll make a pound of artisan soap. Soap should nourish your skin. You will go home with about 8 bars of natural soap that you have customized. We'll use olive oil, coconut oil, palm oil, and Shea butter and essential oils to make soap that’s good for your skin. We'll be making soap using crock-pots so that your soap will be ready to use in about 48 hours. No waiting around for weeks like with cold process soaps. You will be going home with of soaps that you design. These soaps are the kind that you can find in spa and specialty stores, We'll mix all vegan oils to make the base and use essential oils for their nutritive value and scent . I think scent should double as nutrients for your skin. Why not? It'll be a while before you have to buy soap.
San Antonio Street Art Tour
We are going to explore St. Mary's street murals! San Antonio is a city filled with street arts, diversity of cultures and good vibes. St. Mary's street draws plenty of foot traffic to its vibrant stretch of hip bars, trendy clubs and San Antonio-original eateries. And of course, it has many amazing murals that are worth to visit. We will walk and make stops at each mural and take awesome photos of you with an instant Polaroid camera so you will have nice photos in San Antonio for your instagram feeds and to take home as a souvenir. I will provide you with 5 instant photos total to take with you and within 24 hours after the experience I will send you other digital photos taken with the camera. Drunk History Tour of both Texas' oldest saloon & hotel
Drink Up the History on a private tour like none other! You'll not only saddle up to two of the most storied bars in Texas, you will be introduced to the bartenders by name and learn all of their many secrets! Starting with some Alamo history we venture off to the oldest saloon in Texas. There we will learn about this bar’s unique history, take an in depth look at some Texas Ranger archives and have exclusive access to one of the largest taxidermy collections in the world! It doesn't get much more Texan than this. We will talk Alamo history and then head to Texas' oldest saloon. A saloon so quintessentially Texas that it now includes a Texas Ranger museum and one of the largest taxidermy collections in the world. Enjoying exclusive access through both museums ($20 value per) we will explore Texas' Wild West days, infamous outlaws and the lawmen that chased them. We follow this up with a visit to the oldest hotel in the West home to it's own world famous bar.
